Bushra Rahman is a writer, politician, columnist and author. She was born on 28 August 1946 in Bahawalpur. She received his master’s degree in journalism from Punjab University, Lahore. She was a member of the National Assembly in the 2002 and 2008 general elections on reserved seats for women. She was elected member of Punjab Assembly in 1985 and 1988.
She is the author of many novels and books. She is a very popular writer among the young generation of Pakistan. She is the author of about 25 collections of short stories, novels, travelogues and is a newspaper columnist. She has also received Presidential Award Satara Imtiaz in 2007 for his literary works.

بشریٰ رحمان ایک مصنفہ، سیاست دان، کالم نگار اور مصنفہ ہیں۔ وہ 28 اگست 1946 کو بہاولپور میں پیدا ہوئیں۔ انہوں نے پنجاب یونیورسٹی لاہور سے صحافت میں ماسٹر ڈگری حاصل کی۔ وہ عام انتخابات 2002 اور 2008 میں خواتین کی مخصوص نشستوں پر رکن قومی اسمبلی رہیں۔ وہ 1985 اور 1988 میں پنجاب اسمبلی کی رکن منتخب ہوئیں۔
وہ کئی ناولوں اور کتابوں کی مصنفہ ہیں .وہ پاکستان کی نوجوان نسل میں بہت مقبول مصنفہ ہیں۔ وہ مختصر کہانیوں، ناولوں، سفرناموں کے تقریباً 25 مجموعوں کی مصنفہ ہیں اور بطور اخباری کالم نگار ہیں۔ انہیں 2007 میں ان کے ادبی کاموں پر صدارتی ایوارڈ ستارہ امتیاز بھی مل چکا ہے۔
